Melissa G.
My dream has always been to be a hair stylist. Upon my completion from high school I immediately began attending Bellus Academy Cosmetology School. There I was taught Sassoon’s ABC cutting techniques, and the Wella Professional color line. After graduation I began my search for a salon with great energy, when I came across Diesel Salon. I started working at Diesel Salon in 2010, working around so many passionate people has made my love for this industry grow more each day. Being a hair stylist is more than a job to me, its my life. Making people love their hair and introducing them to new styles and trends everyday is something I strive to do for each of my clients.
Continuing my education is very important to me. Over the years I have taken various L’Oréal Professionnel classes including attending the L’Oréal Professionnel World Tour in Madrid, Spain summer of 2015. Also in 2015 I completed the 6 month L’Oréal Network Expert course to learn extensive knowledge of the entire L’Oréal Professionnel line of color and styling products. I also have been certified in the Keratin complex smoothing treatments. Recently I have been able to share my knowledge with the new assistants at Diesel Salon helping with teaching classes in color and cut. I’m so grateful to be a part of this amazing team and to keep growing as a well rounded stylist.

Love her! So nice even though I was a Groupon customer, asked me questions and actually listened to my concerns, and gave me an amaaazing cut! Cant speak for the rest of the ladies at the cute salon but I can for sure say with Melissa you’re in good hands!! 🙂

I absolutely LOVED my hair the last time I had it cut by Melissa G. It was more than I expected and I couldn’t have been happier. I made another appointment for today and I am so excited! Melissa is such a sweet and talented person. I definitely recommend her!!
I’ve gone to Melissa G. twice already and have my 3rd appointment coming up, and wouldn’t even think of going to anyone else (not to discount any of the lovely ladies at the salon, because they all seem fantastic)! Not only did she do an amazing job bringing my hair from at-home-dyed black to a fantastic red in one morning without damaging it or costing me an arm and a leg, but she was very easy to talk to. The next time I went in she remembered me and asked personal follow up questions, which impressed me since it had been 8 weeks and I’m sure she gets plenty of clients. I would definitely recommend her for both her personality and her skills. A+! 🙂
I was referred by a friend of mine, Madison Harding. I didn’t know who to go to though, so I chose Melissa G. I’m so glad I did. She is personable, knowledgeable, and an excellent artist.
